Traditional Tuesday Project Idea - February 15, 2011

How To Create:
Use the pink heart paper from Cheerful Valentine Addition as a base.

Cut a piece of Espresso Cardstock to 10" x 8-1/2”, cutting the top of the 10” side with the Small Wavy Rotary Blade.

Cut paper strips with the following dimensions: Cheerful Valentine red strip: 11" x 1”

Lovable Kit gray strip, using Deckle Rotary Blade: 9-1/2" x 1"

Lovable Kit stripe strip: 8" x 1/4” and lay over red and gray strips

Lovable Kit brown polka dot: 10-1/2" x 1/2”

Lovable Kit pink flower strip: 10” x 1"

Lovable Kit red strip, punched with Love Struck Maker, 10-1/2” x 1"

Use 3/4 “ blue strip underneath the red strip

Cheerful Valentine love paper, using deckle blade on one side: 1/2” x 11”

Lovable Kit strip 1/8” x 8” to lay over pink and red strips

Using All Purpose Scissors, cut a heart flower from the Cheerful Valentine paper.

Layer heart stickers from Cheerful Valentine sticker sheet on top of the paper heart flower.

Cut a 1” strip of Espresso Cardstock using the Deckle Rotary Blade.

Fold the strip of cardstock in an accordion style, approximately 1/8-1/4” each. Attach the 2 ends with the tape runner and lay flat to form an accordion flower. Layer the cut heart/flower on top with the Tape Runner then adhere to the strips of paper.

Place the word “LOVE” horizontally along the bottom, then the word “stuffed” perpendicular at the letter “L”.
Punch 2 hearts using the Lovable Mini Pocket Punches from the Cheerful Valentine paper and place
on the “L” and “O”. Use a heart sticker from Cheerful Valentine sticker sheet and place on the “E”.

Cut (2) 3" x 2" tags from the Lovable Kit blue Photo Mats. Cut corners to make it into a tag. Punch 2 hearts from the Cheerful Valentine stickers with the Lovable Mini Pocket Punches to adhere to the top center of the tags.

Journal using the Dual-Tip Brown Pen.

A Very Happy Valentines Day to all my scrap-booking and non scrap-booking friends! So good to see the snow banks melting a little bit! Our temps are going to warm up a bit here in the SW corner of Wisconsin, makes a person believe now that Spring is a Promise God will keep for another year!

Congrats to all our returning CM consultants that earned leadership conference in Cancun! What fun and we can hardly wait to hear of new developments with the Company and the scrap-booking industry!

I had a great weekend, spent some of it scrap-booking and found a new love of my own! I have 1125 photos from our wonderful trip to SD, and Wyoming last fall! What a wonderful trip, went as far as Yellowstone National Park.

Our most wonderful part was an unplanned stop at the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary south of Hot Springs SD. It has always been my life's dream to see the Wild Mustangs in their natural habitat in the West. What a wonderful "Dream" Dayton Hyde had in his vision many years ago! We seen the most beautiful and FREE mustangs we could have imagined! I had a ton of photos just from the Wild Horse Sanctuary where up to 500 Mustangs and a herd of Spanish Mustangs run wild and free on over 11,000 acres of beautiful, rugged terrain also housing Native American sacred grounds. An experience of a lifetime! But in wanting to do something special with just those photos, I engaged the use of a Creative Memories 12x12 Quick Kit, and I fell in love with them! They have completely layered and decorated pages, 32 totaled already for you to just add your photos and additional embellishments to finsih the pages! How wonderful to have half of your work already finished for you! I am for sure that I will be utilizing many more of Creative Memories Quick Kits in my future scrap-booking! Try them! You will just love them! Look for something new in March along those lines!

I will try to include some photos of my finished album in the next few days! Memories of a wonderful trip my husband I will treasure for many years! Hubby always liked horses but now he fell in love with a Mustang named Serena, she would come right up to us and our guide offered her a bottle of water he drizzled over her nostrils! Great Memories that we can now treasure and view in our newly finished album anytime we want!

This is a photo of Dayton Hyde, the man with a vision and dream of his own, much like our own Rhonda Anderson in Creative Memories!

Have a Blessed Day!

Scrap Fully Yours!
